E4300 error
Running compiler does not satisfy package.wowlua (checked before schema validation)
- area
- manifest (x4xxx)
- fails the build
- yes
The package asks for another compiler version than the one running: the
running wowlua does not satisfy package.wowlua. This is checked before
anything else in the manifest, so a manifest written for a newer wowlua
reports this one error instead of an unknown key (E4002) for every new
setting.
Install a wowlua version that matches the requirement, or, if the package works with your version, change the requirement.
Example
{ "package": { "name": "playground", "version": "0.1.0", "wowlua": "^9.0" }, "flavors": { "camelot": {} }}{ "package": { "name": "playground", "version": "0.1.0", "wowlua": "^0.13" }, "flavors": { "camelot": {} }}The compiler reports it like this:
error[E4300]: this package requires wowlua ^9.0, but this is wowlua 0.13.8 ┌─ wowlua.json:5:9 │ 5 │ "wowlua": "^9.0" │ ^^^^^^^^ required compiler version │ = help: install a matching wowlua version
