Profiles that inherit from each other in a circle (beta inherits staging, which inherits beta), or minification levels that extend each other in a circle. The effective settings are built by walking the chain down to its base, so a chain that never reaches a built-in profile or level has no settings.

Let one of them inherit from a built-in profile (dev or release), or extend a built-in level.
